May whatever you do today be easier than trying to syringe-feed a slightly spoiled hedgehog.

What's in the syringe?

DAWWWWWWWWWWWW. Why does he need medicine?

So much drama here.

Is he spiky?

She has some minor inflammation, which we suspect was from an ant bite :( We have since declared (and won!) a war on the ants which were coming in from the patio where my roommate was growing tasty plants.

Pina Colado flavored anti-inflammatory! Last night she couldn't get enough, and was even nibbling ferociously at the syringe, but today she is turning up her nose.

"How dare you provide me that hopelessly low class source of nourishment as my energy source for the rest of today?"

Oh that poor little thing. (not sarcastic) I went camping with my dog and he got something in his eyes so now I have to put medicine in his eyes.

Miss particular. ;D What food does she eat? She's adorable!

Reminds me of when we had to give Howie meds after his surgery.

No, she's mellow right now. She was super spiky waking up from a quick diagnostic nap at the vet on Saturday though:

Lol thanks, that's my princess for ya! She normally eats a fancy kibble with chicken and other simple protein and fat sources, but she also enjoys crickets.

Cute little fellow. You must be in England? Where do they live? We don't have any Hedgehogs here in the USA. I might get an occasional visit from a Possum or Raccoon in my yard sometimes.

Lol, no, I'm in the US. She's a domestic African pygmy hedgehog, bred in Ohio. The wild European hedgehogs are a little bigger and have different coloring.

I have to syrnige-feed a slightly spoiled bird on a regular basis. I can't feed it without restraining.

Silly bird! Annabelle was good for her evening dose and nom'd it down happily.

Even though she's the peskiest animal I've ever met, I still love the bird to bits.
